Protector blends ergonomics, safety and beauty into an amazing shaving product.</font></p> </div> <div id="AcmeEasyOpen"> <font size="-4" color="black">Acme EZ-Open</font> <p><font size="-4" color="black">Rather than just think outside of the box, MAKERS teamed with Orion Design to develop a pair of scissors that cut right through it. An integrated, retractable box-opening blade in the E-Z Open scissors makes cutting open boxes easy and safe.</font></p> </div> <div id="AcmeEasyGrip"> <font size="-4" color="black">Acme Easy Grip</font> <p><font size="-4" color="black">Acme retained MAKERS and Orion Design to help them break into the mechanically-assisted scissors market. MAKERS navigated a minefield of competing scissors patents and incorporated a torsion spring in the Easy Grip hinge. The Easy Grip scissors require no effort to open, making them especially handy for people who lack the hand strength to use standard scissors.</font></p> </div> <div id="MetrobilityDeltaClass"> <font size="-4" color="black">Metrobility Delta Class</font> <p><font size="-4" color="black">MAKERS was hired by METRObility to reduce the cost of the extruded aluminum housing for their fiber optic to Ethernet converter. In designing the Delta Class product, MAKERS reduced the case part cost from $12.00 to $6.00, the part count from 22 pieces to 8, and the assembly time from 3 minutes to 30 seconds. In addition to its user-centric design and stunning looks, MAKERS incorporated a number of innovative features like wall mount capability and cable management.</font></p> </div> <div id="SegwayCommercialParkCharge"> <font size="-4" color="black">Segway Park and Charge</font> <p><font size="-4" color="black">Since its founding, MAKERS has worked with Segway to define and design products that extend the convenience and usefulness of the Segway HT. Previous to the HT s release, MAKERS was tasked with establishing how potential industrial and commercial users would use the HT and which features would be important to them. The Commercial Park and Charge defined a space for Segway users to secure, park and charge their HT.</font></p> </div> <div id="SegwayHT"> <font size="-4" color="black">Segway HT</font> <p><font size="-4" color="black">Once upon a time, a handful of engineers attempted to change the world by creating a new form of transportation. MAKERS worked within the talented product development team at Segway in those early days assisting in the development of the Segway HT, HT accessories and the Centaur concept vehicle.</font></p> </div> <div id="WatersEmpower"> <font size="-4" color="black">Waters Empower Software</font> <p><font size="-4" color="black">In addition to making highly accurate laboratory instruments, Waters is the leader in developing software that facilitates workflow in labs around the world. We have been helping Waters enhance their software interfaces for years. Their latest product is Empower Software. </font></p> </div> <div id="SIGGSR"> <font size="-4">SIGARMS GSR</font> <p><font size="-4">MAKERS worked closely with the gunsmiths at SiGARMS to develop a 1911 handgun with impeccable fit, finish, accuracy and reliability. MAKERS planned the project to meet SiGARMS' requirements and aggressive schedule, and then fulfilled the design, engineering and outsourcing tasks. The award-winning GSR was brought to market within nine months, but it does not compromise on quality or character.</font></p> </div> </div> <p></p> </body>
